Sonrisas de Esperanza is based in San Pedro La Laguna at the lake of Atitlan and is promoting reading and public speaking skills of children of indigenous communities.

Mission
Promoting reading and public speaking skills of children of indigenous communities by practising basic reading, poetry, diction and scenic movement, in order to support them to have a better development and social competence.
Cooperation
Equilibrium Foundation provided a micro-credit for the construction of a booth to sell healthy Mayan drinks and baked goods.
With the gained income indigenous children are trained to improve their reading and public speaking and a children’s practice stage will be constructed.
